Public Law Library

The Public Law Library is located on the 2nd floor of the Administrative Court building. It has gained a reputation as a center of administrative law and a knowledge resource on Thai public law. The Public Law Library is used for research and learning as well as a knowledge resource for the Administrative Courts’ personnel, students, as well as the public.

The idea of building a Public Law Library came from the library of the French Council of State (Conseil d’État). The judges at the French Council of State use the library as an office for writing judgments. A Public Law Library has single reading tables, combined reading tables, and various corners for reading and meeting at your leisure.

Our Public Law Library achieved a recognition award of an outstanding specialized library of the year 2010 from the Library Association of Thailand under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. It is a member of the Library Association of Thailand and International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). IFLA is an organization that provides advice on libraries in relation to information, education and culture. Its members consist of both organizations and individual professional librarians about 150 countries around the world. Being a member of IFLA is to promote and raise standards of our library and information services as well as create cooperation among libraries around the world.
